We recommend that guests stay at Stanford Valley Country Lodge for the weekend. to limit driving at night and so that we can all be together. There will be a traditional braai (BBQ) on the Friday evening.

A snippet about Lauren & Ed’s journey

Lauren moved to London in May 2008 and first met Ed back in the summer of 2009 in London on 28 May at an underground club called Bünker in Covent Gardens. After a series of on - off relationships over the years (too many for us to count!) things finally started to get serious.

Ed first visited South Africa in 2018 and then visited every year after! He proposed to Lauren at Camp Figtree in Addo, South Africa in 2020, a month before COVID caused the global pandemic. Two sets of COVID lockdowns cancelled our initial wedding plans and the logistics of organising two families across the globe seemed impossible.

So we decided to pause the wedding celebrations. Two cats; one new flat; four new jobs between us; two incredible daughters; two 40th birthdays and many sleepless nights, we have finally reset the date!

The Registry

Many of you are traveling across the globe to celebrate with us in South Africa, so your presence means the world to us and is all we ask for.

We hope you’ll join us on this special day.
